The 2019 Fall Orientation for new students will be August 27 - August 30, 2019, with International Student Orienation preceeding on Tuesday, August 20 - Friday, August 23, 2019. Besides providing time to take care of necessary administrative tasks, the orientation schedule connects new students with their classmates, introduces basic concepts of theological education, and includes opportunities for worship, academic advising, getting acquainted with the Evanston area, and, of course, sharing food. For questions or needs related to 2019 Fall Orientation, please contact Cassidhe Hart, Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 847.866.3948.
Moodle is the online learning platform used by Garrett-Evangelical, and all incoming students will be added to a New Student Orientation "class" in early July. This sample class will not only allow you to get familiar with the ins and outs of Moodle but will also provide you with all the information you need to prepare for your time at seminary. Once you've been emailed your invitation to the class, we encourage all new students to use the Moodle class as their first stop for orientation information. If you are having trouble accessing the class, email email@example.com.
In an effort to support your transition to Garrett-Evangelical and graduate theological education, we offer this page as a collection of resources. We are pleased and privileged to welcome you to the community.
